Purpose/Terms of Use

RadiologyInfo™ is the public information website developed and funded by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR). It was established to inform and educate the public about radiologic procedures and the role of radiologists in healthcare, and to improve communications between physicians and their patients.

RadiologyInfo is dedicated to being the trusted source of information for the public about radiology and the unique and vital role of radiologists in healthcare. To ensure its quality and accuracy, each section has been created with the guidance of a physician with expertise in the topic presented. All information contained in the website is further reviewed by an RSNA-ACR committee, comprised of physicians with expertise in several radiologic areas.

This website will be updated frequently and expanded to include new information. However, it is not possible to assure that the website contains complete, up-to-date information on any particular subject. Therefore, RSNA and ACR make no representations or warranties about the suitability of this information for use for any particular purpose. All information is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty.
